I have been SO slack!!!

Wow, I really thought I would do better with this thing! I've got a bit of catching up to do!

Matthew is now 5 months and 5 days old. At his 4 month check up he weighed 16lbs and 1/2 an ounce, and was 26 inches tall. I'm guessing he's about 17 lbs now. He eats everything in sight! He started eating baby cereal at 3 months and baby food just a few weeks later. (yes, Dr. Lige is fully aware of this, lol) The only thing I've found that he doesn't like is carrots. He's drinking from a sippy cup now. I just couldn't see giving him a bottle at this point and having to deal with taking it away in just a few months. He's still nursing. I just give him a sippy when he's his eating solids. Of course, Matthew prefers to eat and drink whatever Mommy is having, lol.

Matthew is almost sitting unsupported now. He can sit for 30 seconds to a minute before he starts to lean forward. He loves to stand up. If you take his hands and try to pull him up to sit, he just stands right on up. He wants to be on the go all the time. I wonder if he'll skip crawling altogether and go straight to walking.

School has started again for Brendon and Isaac, now in 3rd and 1st grades. I'm so blessed that they both love school! It sure makes my life easier to not have to fight to get them there! They are both doing well so far, and like their teachers a lot.

Both Brendon and Isaac are getting so big and so grown up! They each grew an inch this summer. They're both struggling to find their own way, and are beginning to exhibit differences. The day I knew would eventually come has. They're now starting to compete with one another. I think it's healthy though, and overall they still get along very well. They play well together, most of the time, and they're very protective of each other, always. Matthew is a lucky little boy to have such great older brothers. They love him so much, and help out with him all the time.(sometimes a little too much!)
I'm gonna try and fight this thing to get some updated photos posted!

mud bog video

This was my first time running at Dennis Anderson's Motorsports Park. I ALMOST made it all the way out of the pit. I only lacked 8ft. That's Dennis you hear talking in the beginning, and yelling at me to "SHIFT" while I was running.... too bad I couldn't hear him!!!!!

This is Kenny's first run of the day. He broke the Jeep on his second run =(
